At around $1,000, you probably think that your smartphone is already very expensive. But what if you find out that the price of the cell phone price you are protecting with life and limb is not even 1% of what the rich can potentially spend on a handset? That certainly puts the relative value into some perspective. But if you could get your hands on one of those $3.5 million phones you might want to consider some form of insurance policy.
We all know that the iPhone series currently makes the most noise in the market--mainly because of its cool features and specifications. Perhaps it would create an even louder noise if the 3GS Supreme Edition was formally announced. The iPhone 3GS Supreme, designed by Stuart Hughes, is the rich man’s phone that will set you back $3.5 Million.
Its features and specifications are very much the same as those of the latest iPhone editions with fast web browsing capability, high touch screen sensitivity, an uncomplicated OS and a lot more outstanding mobile technology advancements. But what makes it a lot more expensive than any other phone is its luxurious finish. It is built into a 22-Karat gold casing and comes with a total of 136 pieces of genuine diamonds along its sides an as accents on the main buttons. Its navigation button is a genuine 7.1-Karat Diamond that gives your smartphone experience a touch of royalty.
This phone is being sold in a 7kg granite box with an expensive leather lining. Otherwise, it is not really different from other iPhone editions, with support for up to 32GB storage capacity and with all the regular features and specifications of a smartphone that you can use for your work, entertainment and gaming needs.
Other luxury mobile phones also exist. Next to the iPhone is the Goldvish LeMillion (above), which was also declared as a very unique mobile phone in the Guinness World Records in 2008. It makes use of diamonds and 18-Karat white gold to meet the selling price of $1.3 million bucks.
There is also another phone that is equally expensive but makes use of 18-Karat Rose Gold with accents of a platinum base, 50 diamonds with eight of them being rare blue diamonds. This is the Diamond Crypto Smartphone (left). Then there is also the Vertu Signature Cobra mobile phone which is at $310,000 and makes use of a combination of diamonds and rubies for its external finishing. At $300,000,the VIPN Black Diamond Smartphone also makes a loud noise in the luxury phone market.
If you are among those people who have quite a lot of extra cash to spend, it may be a good idea to get yourself one of these luxury phones. But before you do, you may want to get back to this question: What are you going to use your mobile phone for? It may greatly help you decide.
